Even as God pronounced the sentence upon Adam and all mankind, He gave humanity hope and the first prophecy of the coming Messiah in His rebuke of Satan: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel" (Genesis 3:15 NKJV). Finally he comes to two other witnesses; as from the Psalms, so now from the law and the prophets.
