Clemans accused Werner and Lowes (the exclusive retailer for the ladders) of selling a dangerous, defective product and attempting to conceal potential hazards from consumers, among other allegations. I checked Werner's site to see what kind of warranty they had & there is none, however, there is mention of "standing behind their products".

I need to trim the legs a tiny bit to be gap free but that will be maybe 2 minutes of work with some snips. They dont care. I didn't like the compression tool and opted for a socket, a big wrench might have worked even better - I think the tool may be dangerous and the compression procedure a little risky.
